I’ve been lucky to be involved in some wonderful projects during lockdown including WE’LL MEET AGAIN for HMDT. The cast were 2/3rds of the way through the rehearsal process when lockdown happened. We had predicted that it would be our last week together so informally recorded scenes as we could on phones and tablets. Cast also self-recorded themselves singing and dancing as well as creating their own character monologues and art work which were included in the final ‘scrapbook’ of the production.27 July 2020
Fabulous to be able to announce the launch of the W11 Opera 49th production - JUKEBOX. This production will be rehearsed and streamed entirely online with a professional Director, Musical Director (Alastair Chilvers), Choreographer (Maggie Rawlinson) & Illustrator (Chris Glynn).
The Producer is rehearsing all the previous W11 Opera commission characters to find the best show ever! Three storylines interlink songs from nine operas - The Producer & his Assistant, who is desperate to be a performer but needs to convince her boss that this is a good idea. The evil Queen and her sycophantic Archbishop (Eliza & the Swans by Hazel Gould & John Barber) who want to win the competition by hook or by crook. And last, but not least, a love triangle between Helen of Troy (Ulysses & the Wooden Horse by Timothy Kraemer), and odd-couple Sophie and Gerald (Shadowtracks - by Christina Jones & Julian Grant - original characters of Sophie & Gerald created by Christina Jones).09 July 2020
Many thanks to ACE for supporting my work with an Arts Council England Emergency Fund: For Individuals grant. It is essential that the arts and artists can survive and thrive through this difficult period. The arts have proven to be an essential part of life during lockdown and I hope that this respect and affection for the arts will continue once we are able to return to the theatre, opera house, concert hall, gallery, museum etc. In the meantime we will continue to strive to remain connected online and make the most of the facilities available to us.20 May 2020

Very pleased to be joining the cast of Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring with Halifax Opera Festival. I'm going to be performing the role of Mrs Herring in this wonderful piece.14 July 2017
"Plainest of the lovesick maidens is The Lady Jane, sung tonight by understudy Susan Moore. You would not know this, as she delivers a masterpiece of comic timing and performance in this Contralto role, and receives warm applause for her efforts at the curtain call"
"For this farewell performance, Susan Moore replaced Valerie Reid as the doughty Lady Jane. Her “rugged old bosom” harbours a splendid traditional contralto, and she makes a great job of her solo, accompanying herself not on a cello, but on a double bass whose generous curves echo her own"
"Susan Moore making good use of her ample charms and matching contralto tones in the role of Lady Jane"

I am very excited to be starting the design process on the 2017 W11 Opera CUTLASS CREW based on the real life story of Lady Mary Killigrew. You can register to audition from the beginning of June and I will be sending out information about registering and the audition process in the next couple of weeks. Anyone between the ages of 9-18 can audition and we take as many applicants as we can. If you love singing, acting and dancing this is the company for you! We offer training as part of the rehearsal process in good vocal technique, stage craft and movement. Roles are allocated on merit so it doesn't matter if this is your first time on stage or you are really experienced, there are lots of opportunities for all.27 May 2017
